You’ll master the ICAO phonetic alphabet for letters and the aviation-specific pronunciation of numbers to ensure accuracy even in noisy environments.</p><p>You’ll also study the six categories of RT messages—distress, urgency, direction finding, flight safety, meteorological, and flight regularity—and understand their order of priority, correct terminology, and usage in real-world situations.</p>

This course covers the international standards for transmitting messages, including the correct pronunciation of letters and numbers, the use of the phonetic alphabet, and the structured priority of RT messages.
